International Academy of Dry Needling was established in 2011 under the name of Indian Academy of Dry Needling, pioneering dry needling in the Indian subcontinent. It has been more than a decade that we have been growing as a continuing education provider for medical, para-medical and other healthcare professionals. In this 11 years of journey we have taught Dry Needling to more than 2000 professionals in and around India. These professionals are Orthopedics, Anesthetists, Sports Medicine Physicians, General Medicine Physicians and largely Physical Therapists. Our proud students are practicing dry needling in India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, UAE, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
Dr. Ruchit Sanghvi is Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture and Master of Physiotherapy in Neurological Conditions. He has been practicing and teaching the skill of Acupuncture for over 15 Years and has been practicing, teaching and developing Dry Needling for over 11 Years now in 2022. His keen interest in understanding, how needles work involving bodily reactions and responses, led him to develop a unique dry needling approach which he named as "Myotactic Approach" which focuses upon all round perpetuation possibilities of Trigger Points starting with local to central mechanisms. His approach pays all due respect to other approaches and finding harmony with each, it then adds specific assessment patterns to identify trigger points. His journey is just over a decade old and he aims high to contribute to the Dry Needling subject very soon. He is currently writing a title, “Dry Needling Encyclopedia : Managing Trigger Points, Spasms, Enthesopathies and Beyond”.
